Music Suitable for Settling Babies and Children
If you are looking for music to settle babies down to sleep there are many many different CDs that would do the job.
The main things to look for are:
- Look for music recorded by a real Orchestra and real musicians - Sometimes lullaby CDs are sequenced on computers, giving a less than realistic sound, that won't help your child get to sleep!
- Familiar themes work well - even if it is only "Twinkle Twinkle" and "Mary had a little Lamb" it isn't boring to your baby! If you use music like this you will settle them down and later when they play their first instruments these melodies will come out easily!
